Current exhibition - Medieval Lives on Show
You can find out by visiting St Katherine's and exploring the latest exhibition which is now open and offers the opportunity to see the intriguing film of the Luttrell Psalter produced by WAGSCREEN.
The Luttrell Psalter is document commissioned in the fourteenthe century by Sir Geofffrey Luttrell, a Lincolnshire landowner. The Psalter is richly illustrated with a wealth of images depicting life in medieval Lincolnshire.
The Psalter is one of the nation's treasures and is in the British Library in London. The British Library has kindly loaned St Katherine's an electronic 'turning the pages' kiosk so visitors can view the lavishly illustrated pages and interpret their meaning
Through film, artefacts, an electronic version of 'turning the page' displays, and a facsimile of the document, you can investigate the intriguing world of the Luttrell Psalter.
The exhibition will run until the 14th September 2010
